1. Asst. Manager / Senior Executive, Grants, Compliance and Admin (GCA) – ACTB Project

SMC Job Responsibilities

  1. The incumbent will be based in SMC head office and responsible for monitoring of financial & operational activities and project procurement of USAID’s ACTB project.
  2. Preparation of Donors and SMC policy procedures are properly followed. Support relevant staff of the cost center of the USAID’s ACTB program that financial expenditures are incurred in compliance with Donor and organizations policy and procedures. Perform field visit to provide financial monitoring to partner NGO’s and support cost center of USAID’s ACTB program.
  3. Provide internal control checking to review bills, invoice and other expenditure and process for payment.

SMC Job Requirements

  1. Must have a Master degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA major in Finance or Master degree in Social Science. Candidates who have completed CA/ACCA course will be given preference.
  2. Age at most 50 years
  3. Preferably 8 years’ relevant experience especially donor funded program (e.g USAID) or agency will be given preference; working experience in grants and compliance frame will be an added value.
  4. Shall have at least 5 years of relevant experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  5. Record keeping, Donor reporting, compliance, budget preparation and documentation skills
  6. High level of integrity and excellent computer (MS word, MS excel, MS power point and accounting software) operating skill
  7. Age preferably below 50 years.
  8. Possesses very good skills in preparing financial report, grants management, financial control and monitoring, and compliances. Excellent documentation, communication, report writing and presentation skills. Skills in private sector engagement in public health related project implementation.
  9. Possesses high level of integrity and excellent operating skills in MS Office application suite and relevant accounting software; skills in interpersonal relationship, and working in team approach.
  10. Coordination and communication skills with implementing partners, vendors and various stakeholders.
  11. Hard working and ability to work under pressure.
