UNDP Job Responsibilities

  1. The consultant will, in close consultation with UN Women’s WPS focal point, provide technical support to  MOFA for the implementation and gender-sensitive and result-based monitoring and reporting of NAP WPS:
  2. 1) Prepare  materials (concept note, agenda, presentation slides and others), and provide facilitation support for any planned orientation workshop and follow-up for Inter-ministerial Coordination Group.
  3. 2) Review and finalize the existing templates for with guidance notes, presentations, and worksheets (as appropriate) for all relevant line ministries/departments on how to collect, collate and report data for NAP WPS. For this the consultant will seek feedback from MOFA/the Inter-ministerial Coordination Group, and/or refer to relevant tools developed and used by other countries in localizing the NAP WPS. The revised templates (if any) should include timeline, required data for baseline, guidance to collect and collate data for reporting, and other necessary guidance. 
  4. 3) Prepare detailed data collection methodology and plan; collect data from all relevant stakeholders of the Inter-Ministerial Coordination Group on the activities of the first year of the NAP WPS implementation by the specific government entity; analyze and synthesize the data to prepare draft annual progress report for NAP WPS as per MOFA requirement. 
  5. 4) Prepare materials and provide facilitation support for any validation workshop for finalisation of the annual progress report. Incorporate findings and feedback into draft report.
